We know the holidays mean a lot of coordination, and sometimes we cut it pretty close when ordering gifts for our loved ones (furry or not).  To help make sure you get your Lion + Wolf goodies in plenty of time, we have laid out some key dates for Christmas ordering and shipping.

Order By
For arrival by: USPS Priority (1-3 day, not guaranteed) USPS Priority Express (Overnight, guaranteed)
Friday, December 23, 2016 Monday, December 19, 2016 Wednesday, December 21, 2016
Saturday, December 24, 2016 Tuesday, December 20, 2016 Thursday, December 22, 2016
*Orders must be received by 1pm EST
**These dates do not include the delivery of pet bed pillow inserts.  See below for details.

Pet Bed Order Cut-Off Info
Our pet beds are comprised of two parts: an outer cover and a pillow insert.  We ship our pillow inserts directly from our California manufacturer, so they can take 3-8 business days to arrive after ordering.  We advise if you wish to receive a complete bed by December 23rd (last day for Christmas UPS deliveries), please order before 10pm EST, December 13.

Otherwise, the pet bed cover will arrive according to the above table, and the pillow insert will follow via UPS Ground 3-8 business days after you place your order.  If you require us to ship the insert directly to the gift recipient, please make a note in the ‘notes’ section when ordering.

Custom beds are not included in this cut-off criteria.  If you want a custom bed before the cut-off dates, please email howl@lionandwolf and we will try our absolute best to accommodate your needs.

What if I miss the ordering cut-off?
We understand that sometimes you just miss the deadline, or maybe you just can’t quite decide on the final design choice - so we now have a couple of options to make sure you still get the purrr-fect gift for that someone special.

  1. Gift Card: We now have gift cards available in many $ increments and also for specific products, like our “Medium Geo Collection Dog Bed Gift Card”.
  2. L+W "On Its Way”: If you just missed our shipping cut-offs, we will still get your product to you as quickly as possible, and in the meantime, we will email you an ‘IOU’ (in PDF form) to print out and give to your loved one on the big day. Please leave us a note at checkout if you would like this option!

We thought of everything!!!  Now, time for mince pies...

Pet Bed Dimensions

Due to the squishy nature of pillows, please note that sizes are approximate and may vary slightly.

We HIGHLY recommend measuring your pet prior to ordering to avoid costly return shipping fees.

Dog Collar Dimensions

Collars should be tight enough that they can’t slip off, but loose enough to fit a few fingers in between the neck and the collar.

Using a soft measuring tape, measure around the base of your dog’s neck. For optimal comfort, add roughly two inches to the measurement. You should be able to fit two fingers in between the tape measure and the dog’s neck.
